"To let go does not mean to get rid of. To let go means to let be. When we let be with compassion, things come and go on their own.”

Let Go with Leslie

Hi, I’m Leslie (she/her), an anxiety specialist, here to teach you how to let go.

Let go of fear, negative self talk, racing thoughts, unhealthy behaviors…that one embarrassing moment in 6th grade lunch that you never think about until you are ready to fall asleep…anything that is holding you back from living a life filled with presence and joy.

Now, I don’t say “let go” lightly, because it’s not that simple. In order to let go, we have to

become aware of what we are holding on to,

honor how it has served us in the past,

and trust we don’t need it any longer.

So, take a deep breath in & out. Now, ask yourself, “What do I want to let go of?”.

Leslie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) who received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Leslie also has a background in the arts with a B.F.A. in Acting and is in the process of obtaining certification to become a Reiki practitioner.

In her spare time, Leslie can be found practicing yoga, supporting Chicago theatre, learning about astrology, & chasing her dachshund and toddler around the house.
